Ryan Phillips is an award winning multidisciplinary theatre artist and magician based in New York City. He has collaborated on plays and musicals Off-Broadway and across the country as a creative consultant designing original magic, illusions, and special effects. He also has twenty years experience as a professional performer. Recently, his work as an Illusions Consultant was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Choreography in a Play; and in 2024 his one man show “Seven Wonders” was awarded Best Solo Show and Best of Fringe at DC’s Capital Fringe Festival. Since 2019 he was the resident magician at the world famous Mayflower Hotel for five continuous years in the hit comedy magic show “The Magic Duel”. He has been a headline performer at the prestigious Chicago Magic Lounge, The Slipper Room NYC, Museum of Illusions DC, and Poe’s Magic Theatre in Baltimore, MD. He is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and performs at Pride events across the East Coast.
